Italia Oliva, the owner of O Pet Spa, has been petsitting and caring for animals for over 20 years and believes strongly in giving all pets lots of love and affection. Ms. Oliva has always owned several dogs and has a particular affinity for Golden Retrievers and Shih Tzus.

As a picky pet owner, Ms. Oliva became very frustrated with the quality of grooming her pets received and decided to learn how to professionally groom her animals herself. Ms. Oliva became a Certified Brusher Bather from An International Academy of Pet Design in Alpharetta, Georgia and then trained as a Certified Pet Groomer through the Penn Foster Career School. Ms. Oliva completed Petco’s Professional Pet GroomingTraining Program. During her training at Petco, she also trained as a Professional Pet Stylist, following strict American Kennel Club (AKC) rules. She specializes in Poodle, Bichon Frise and Shih Tzu styles.

Ms. Oliva is trained Pet First Aid from the American Safety and Health Institute. In an effort to provide even more care to her animals, Ms. Oliva is Certified in Pet Massage from Pet Massage, Ltd. Ms. Oliva has bred Golden Retriever and Shih Tzus for years.
